What’s After? (Week 6)

May 24, 2008 at 11:27 pm (Uncategorized)

Suddenly thought of a question when my classmate asked during seconday school. He once ask, what’s after we died? My answer to him was, everything would be like a dream? When you are dead, you closed your eyes and it feels as if you are sleeping. And, you would be in your dreams, forever. So, what’s the definition of death? From the dictionary in our macbook, it stated the action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism. It’s the end of our organism, but, what about the soul of a person? When a person dies, does he or her really leave the world? Quoted from the sixth sense film, someone said, “When people own things and then they passed away, a part of themselves get imprinted on those things. Like… fingerprints?” So, even if you die, something from you would still be left on this world. Your last breath? Your scent? Your feel? And of course, your fingerprints.

Heard many stories about people coming back to life when they are on their verge of death. Like those people whom their heartbeat stopped and then the heart starts beating again? They said that they have visited hell and so on. Of course, all of their stories on hell are different. No one have really been to hell. And, if someone went there, they would really be dead. How to tell us the story about what’s after death? When you heard those stories from people whom almost died, for example, in a car accident? They might say there would be flashed back about the past. Those things which they have regrets and those things which they wish to atone for? Is it true? I have never been on the verge of death before, so, I can’t answer the question. Some people might also say, when they are on the verge of death, they would see their process of growing up. From baby, to a child, to an adult and so on… I don’t know about that.

Life is fragile. And I believe that, everyday, we are doing some killings. Ants. Just walk on the ground and you might have just killed some of them. It is inevitable. Even if you tried to aviod the ants, which I think it is quite impossible. Those food you consumed, they are once alive. Chicken, Pork, Fish, Beef… Even vegetables are once a living thing! So, killing are inevitable. The most cruel living on earth is of course us, human. Now there is global warming and the weather is so hot! Who causes it? Us. The ozone layer are depleting and are we trying to salvage it? And we are complaining about the hot weather, whose fault was that? (Ok, I am one of the person complaining about the weather.) For now, the weather is hot -> we turn on the air con -> CFC are emitted -> ozone layer deplete again.

Some people saying that 21 December 2012 is doomsday. True or false? Maybe till then, we will know what’s after death… But, there was a prediction of doomsday a few years ago, right? It didn’t happen at all. Now, true or false?

EMOtion-ist (Week 3)

May 3, 2008 at 1:23 am (Thoughts, Uncategorized) (, )

Why do people feel EMO? I have people around me who are an “emotionist”. It is not really cool to be emo. However, some people just like to be emo. What’s the point of being emo when you can live happily? Actually, if you are feeling emo all the times, maybe you should go and see a psychiatrist. If you had watched tv, there was this advertisment on depression. One of the sentence in the advertisment goes like this, “It is more than just feeling blue.” Yes, it is indeed more than just having a monday blues or something else.

When you are feeling emo, think to yourself, do I have depression? I can’t let myself have depression. I must be happy! Think of happy moments in your life. I don’t believe there is none? Maybe, if you have an “emotionist” friend, you should really care for them. Don’t really let them feel emo.

But, why do people wants to be/act emo? Is it to attracts attention? I still don’t believe that there are so many “emotionist” among us. If there are really “emotionist”, is it because the society is too stressful for them to handle? Or, some people acts emo just to gain attention from people, so they will asked, “what happened? are you alright?”

Some people feel emo because they are neglected. A talks to B, C talks to D and E talks to F. What happens to G? G is ignored. Please don’t do that to G. But, I believe some people doesn’t care about it. But, of course, some people do care. In fact, some people to care a lot! So, when chatting happily to your friends, let’s not forget about the “invisible” friend. He/She is not invisible. I must admit that sometimes I do forget about an existence of a person. But, sometimes, people also do forget about my existence. So, it’s even up? Ha.

Why be the sad one among the happy ones?

When you can be the happy one among the sad ones?

Everyone have a secret of their own. No point digging out people’s secret right? Saw blogs with many many weird sentence. Which I don’t understand. Yes, I’m a blog hopper. I jumps around, blog to blog. I do visits strangers blog too. Anyway, my point is, why do I always view EMOS blog. Sentences like, “I’ve lost trust in you.” Or, “Things will never be the same again.” Does they mean it? Or just to attracts attention? If it’s just to attracts attention, yes, they have reached their goals. It makes me wants to know more. However, if they meant it, I shan’t ask. Shouldn’t be so inquisitive, right? Even if I asked, some people may not want to say it. So, why makes things so awkward? So, I shall, MIND MY OWN BUSINESS. :D

Ok, I think there are no “emotionist” in our class right?
So, I am not directing at anyone, ok? :x
AND, I’M NOT EMO!!! HAHAHA.
